Banana Pudding Cheesecake, yum

My latest creation, Banana Pudding Cheesecake! Omg, I think this is the best dessert I've ever made and I make great desserts. It was easy to make and it tastes.. PERFECT. it tastes just like Banana pudding and cheesecake, not too banana-y, a little crunch from the cookies and the right density. So good. I sprinkled a few toffee chips on top with the Nilla wafers.

Product review of smart weigh food scale

Received this scale free from Tomoson in exchange for my honest review. My honest review is that I love this scale. I had been wanting a food scale for quite some time for portion controlling and helping me to watch what I eat. I also had a new recipe that called for measurements in ounces and I didn't have a way to measure it easy, UNTIL I got this amazing, gorgeous stainless steel Smartweigh scale. It looks gorgeous. Looks gorgeous on the counter. And works easily. So user friendly and easy to use. The recipe I had called for ounces and this scale made it quite easy to measure and mix. It made the entire recipe very easy to make by not having to manually calculate and convert measurements. I now can't wait to use it for my portion controlled meals. This is going to make eating smarter and healthier so easy having the smart scale. I got it from amazon, the price is affordable and it's so worth it.

Retail therapy

Retail therapy. ..the perfect solution to cure a multitude of emotions  (and bank accounts, lol) I got a few goodies from Sephora with their 20% off sale. The Kat Von d lipstick called, MI Vida Loca is gorgeous with tons of colors and shades. The Lorac Pro2 pallette is from ulta and have gorgeous, pigmented colors. Still a little sad, but my eyes and lips are cute.

Heaven has gained a new Angel...

Angel gained her wings this past Thursday, and now is in doggy heaven.  If you've kept up with her, she was my 9 year old boxer who had a tumor on her spine, that once removed, left her hind limbs paralyzed.

Angel put up a fight, didn't have cancer, but didn't have full use of her hind limbs and was incontinent.  But that never stopped her from moving around, coming down steps, hobbling from one room to the next, to still chasing the UPS truck from one window to the next, from still being her same old self, without the use of the hind limbs.  They had feeling, but she just couldn't walk.

She taught me and reaffirmed my faith.  Although the world thought she should not do the things she did, or even being alive, she never got the memo.  Unfortunately, she developed a bad staph infection and I was not told about it, so that when I found out months later, she was in a lot of pain with very little hopes for recovery without additional amputation and surgery.

Her last meal was dunkin donuts coffee with extra cream/sugar, strawberry donut with sprinkles, chocolate s'mores ice cream, french fries, gum, potato chips with lime, a dark chocolate milky way and candy bars.  She loved it!!  Her shirt simply said, "I get my wings today".  She fought a good fight, and will always be remembered.  Love you, baby girl!

Free Dog whistle

Just got this dog whistle for free to try out and provide my honest opinion in exchange for the whistle. I'm going to try this out with Bentley to see if I can get him from barking at everything when we go out for walks.
