My morning selfie with my MAMBI happy planner. I've gone thru many planners in the past year, but have stuck with the happy planner for the past 6 months, probably because it makes me happy, lol 😁 and keeps all my work/project stuff in one place.

Review of Valentia Ultra Hydration Mask

I really love the Ultra Hydration Mask by Valentia.  Let's break it down..

The packaging is really clean and simple, white container with a label trimmed in gold, which helps it to look fancy or like a high grade product, which I felt it was after using.  The presentation is very reflective of the product it contains.

The mask..is yellow jiggly, similar to a pudding consistency, which is not usual with most masks that look like clay or may be thicker in appearance.  Initially I thought, "Oh boy..what is this?"  But after smoothing the product on my face, it had a light consistency, went on smoothly and has a pleasant fragrance.  It does tingle a small bit when you initially use it, but it's so slight, you probably won't notice it.  It was not uncomfortable but I felt like the product was actually tingling because it was working.

You apply the mask over your face, leaving it on for 15 to 30 minutes.  What I do sometimes is apply right when I wake up, take out and feed the dog and come back to remove it while in the shower.  It dries evenly and this saves me on time when I'm in a rush but want to make sure I make full use of the product based on it's instructions.

It has natural ingredients and is intended to tone, hydrate and nourish the skin.  The mask has awesome and amazing ingredients like rose hip seed oil, aloe vera, green tea, and more. It is definitely like having a mini-spa on your face after you're done.

I would definitely recommend this product and would love to see how the other products in their line measure up to this mask.  I received this sample free of charge in exchange for my honest review and opinion.

One bake chicken & veggies

My go to, one pot, favorite dish to make. Really simple, very good and even the most challenged cook can make this.

Ingredients...
Chicken breast
green beans or broccoli
potatoes
dry ranch dressing
dry Italian dressing
butter

Line up the ingredients, season the chicken and green veggie with Italian dressing, season the potatoes with buttermilk dressing, cover the entire dish with butter (I add chicken stock too) bake for 1hr 30 min in 375 degrees.

Product Review of Ozeri Touch II, Total Body scale

What's better than cheap? A free product that is absolutely fabulous!

 Beautiful scale in black with the 4 silver sensors is a welcome addition to my home.

This scale is amazing.

The Ozeri scale is one that you absolutely need for the following reasons... 
-Capacity to 440 lbs
-Auto on/off -Amazing touchscreen
-Tracks muscle, bone, water, fat density
-Can be used by multiple users
-Has tare features where you can weigh other things like babies, pets, luggage, whatever you want.

So originally the book that came with this scale threw me off because it's the size of a mini-novel. But that's because it's for many languages. That didn't stop me for trying it out.

Normally, you have to pat a scale to get it to turn on. With this scale, you stand on 2 of the sensors or lightly touch them and it pops on. You wait for the scale to zero out then get on. You can program a memory profile that keeps all your info in the scale.

It records your gender, age, weight and other items and uses that info to measure your bone, water, muscle and fat density. It then shows you this on the LCD screen. This is an awesome feature.

What would make it more awesome is if it tracked your weight so that each time you got on you can see if gained or lost. But you can always note this elsewhere.

The screen does show you with indicators if you're under or overweight and if you're bordering on obesity. I'm going to use the scale to track my weight and health from the various body mass indicators (water, muscle, bone) to track my fitness goals.

 It's easy to turn the scale on just by standing on it. The lcd screen is very clear and easy to understand and the tare feature is an added plus. I don't have a baby but I will be using this for my luggage as I travel quite a bit and would love to know how much my luggage weighs before I head to the airport.

Overall, I'm very happy with this scale and will be returning the WW scale that I have, as it is much more complex to use than this one. I love the Ozeri scale. Highly impressed. Banana Pudding Cheesecake, yum

My latest creation, Banana Pudding Cheesecake! Omg, I think this is the best dessert I've ever made and I make great desserts. It was easy to make and it tastes.. PERFECT. it tastes just like Banana pudding and cheesecake, not too banana-y, a little crunch from the cookies and the right density. So good. I sprinkled a few toffee chips on top with the Nilla wafers.

Product review of smart weigh food scale

Received this scale free from Tomoson in exchange for my honest review. My honest review is that I love this scale. I had been wanting a food scale for quite some time for portion controlling and helping me to watch what I eat. I also had a new recipe that called for measurements in ounces and I didn't have a way to measure it easy, UNTIL I got this amazing, gorgeous stainless steel Smartweigh scale. It looks gorgeous. Looks gorgeous on the counter. And works easily. So user friendly and easy to use. The recipe I had called for ounces and this scale made it quite easy to measure and mix. It made the entire recipe very easy to make by not having to manually calculate and convert measurements. I now can't wait to use it for my portion controlled meals. Retail therapy

Retail therapy. ..the perfect solution to cure a multitude of emotions  (and bank accounts, lol) I got a few goodies from Sephora with their 20% off sale. The Kat Von d lipstick called, MI Vida Loca is gorgeous with tons of colors and shades. The Lorac Pro2 pallette is from ulta and have gorgeous, pigmented colors. Still a little sad, but my eyes and lips are cute.

Heaven has gained a new Angel...

Angel gained her wings this past Thursday, and now is in doggy heaven.  If you've kept up with her, she was my 9 year old boxer who had a tumor on her spine, that once removed, left her hind limbs paralyzed.

Angel put up a fight, didn't have cancer, but didn't have full use of her hind limbs and was incontinent.  But that never stopped her from moving around, coming down steps, hobbling from one room to the next, to still chasing the UPS truck from one window to the next, from still being her same old self, without the use of the hind limbs.  They had feeling, but she just couldn't walk.

She taught me and reaffirmed my faith.  Although the world thought she should not do the things she did, or even being alive, she never got the memo.  Unfortunately, she developed a bad staph infection and I was not told about it, so that when I found out months later, she was in a lot of pain with very little hopes for recovery without additional amputation and surgery.

Her last meal was dunkin donuts coffee with extra cream/sugar, strawberry donut with sprinkles, chocolate s'mores ice cream, french fries, gum, potato chips with lime, a dark chocolate milky way and candy bars.  She loved it!!  Her shirt simply said, "I get my wings today".  She fought a good fight, and will always be remembered.  Love you, baby girl!

Free Dog whistle

Just got this dog whistle for free to try out and provide my honest opinion in exchange for the whistle. I'm going to try this out with Bentley to see if I can get him from barking at everything when we go out for walks.
