Review of the Valentia True Glow Eye Cream

Another product I received for free in exchange for my honest review, the Valentia True Glow Eye Cream, a natural cream made with organic products.

It contains rosehip, vitamin C and more.

It's meant to reduce wrinkles, lighten dark circles, depuff eyes and nourish the skin. Honestly, I didn't see any great changes by using it. I don't have wrinkles so that didn't help.

It had a nice, light scent but dispensed enough for 3 sets of  eyes, so too much came out.
And I just didn't see a difference by using it.

Michael Todd Mattifying Gel Corrector Review

I received this full size sample of Michael Todd's Mattifying Gel Corrector for free in exchange for my honest review.

I have been using the mattifying gel corrector for a few weeks and I really love this gel.

It does all that it says.
The clear like gel goes on smoothly, absorbs into the skin and leaves a matte effect on your face.  I don't have any oiliness  or oily concerns.  My combination skin appears to have become mattified from using this amazing product.

GEL TEXTURE
The gel dispenses in small amounts when dispersed, but you really only need a little to go a long way. I think it's corrective, mattifying and gives my skin a very smooth and polished appearance.  The gel has a light scent, that's barely noticeable and made of wonderful natural ingredients.

USES
It can be used alone or as a primer and I would definitely recommend this.  I did receive this for free in exchange for my review.

FINAL THOUGHTS
I would definitely invest in this product, it's worth it's weight in gold and has been my go to product since I've received the sample.

No oiliness, no shine, can be used by itself or as a primer with one of the main ingredients being aloe vera, but also contains willow bark extract, and more.

Retail therapy

Retail therapy. ..the perfect solution to cure a multitude of emotions  (and bank accounts, lol) I got a few goodies from Sephora with their 20% off sale. The Kat Von d lipstick called, MI Vida Loca is gorgeous with tons of colors and shades. The Lorac Pro2 pallette is from ulta and have gorgeous, pigmented colors. Still a little sad, but my eyes and lips are cute.

NYX push up bra eyebrow pencil- Epic Fail

NYX push up bra eyebrow double sided pencil was an epic fail for me. Not quite sure first of all why is called push up bra, unless it's supposed to mean push up brow? On the right, you can see that all it did was to color my brow a gray shimmer. It's supposed to be for all shades, not true. I say this is not for the chocolate ladies unless you're into gray sparse brows.  This is intended for my lighter, peachy, ladies. My lorac pencil redeemed me (on the left) and saved me from epic brow embarrassment.

Latest Sephora purchases (and returns)

I had such high hopes for my sephora purchases of foundation by sephora that looked great in the store, but not so great when I brought it home and wore it for a day.
My face wasnt "dewy" like they advertised, but more greasy according to my grease-dar. Smh. #returned
And I love makeup forever products and was so excited to try out their new artist eye shadow palettes. The colors are gorgeous, but does not show up as vibrant on the chocolate. I have their aquamatic eye pencils which are perfect. This Artist palette is not.
You barely could see the colors and that's work with a primer used. I could use it wet or with expensive primer, but that then becomes more labor intensive than I need to invest in. So that got returned to.

New Kat Von D. Lipsticks! - love, love, love

My latest lippies that I'm loving, both by Kat Von D. The lipstick is called, wonderchilde and so purple and wonderful, and stays on all day.
The skinny tube shade is called L.U. V. and is a liquid lipstick that dries to a matte finish and stays on all day and night. It's like lipstick glue and I love it!

Review of Laura Mercier oil free tinted moisturizer

Tried a sample of Laura Mercier oil-free tinted moisturizer in a shade called, Mocha, from Sephora and wasn't quite feeling the shade, which why I made that face.
The bottom pics shows when I first applied it, and the chocolate shade on my face is very different than the caramel shade on my chest. I was definitely NOT feeling it. But.... Within a few minutes the color calmed down and matched my natural chocolate, from the top pic.
It turned out very natural looking so not as bad as I initially thought. May be a winner.  #sephora #lauramercier #mocha #chocolate #makeup #mua #beauty #fashion #face

Loving my new Makeup Forever #15 lipstick

Have I said how much I'm loving Makeup Forever's #15 lipstick? I saw it in the Sephora last month and just had to have it. Of course, they had none in stock and I was totally bummed.
So I'm a devout MAC girl and have most of their glosses, lipglasses and lipstick.  A new color or collection comes out and I'm first in line... Until I saw this wonderful purple goodness called #15.
It was love at first sight!
I finally found the color in stock during my trip to Vegas and bought that baby with a quickness, lol.  It goes on smooth, doesn't dry my lips out, very moisturizing and best of all... Stays on all day, even with meals.  The price is $20, seven bucks more than Mac, but it's so worth it.
My final verdict... Bye bye MAC, makeup forever has stolen my heart... As I had back to Sephora for the next shade called  #15....this is so  #1 in my book!
